I’ve always loved and appreciated high-quality leather products. Whether it was a purse, a pair of shoes, a belt or any other well-made leather item. On one of my trips to Mexico I came across a beautifully tooled leather bag (pictured above) and I fell in love with the artistry and the quality.

From the moment I brought back this first bag and encountered the many endless compliments, I realized that many other women shared the same appreciation. It was then that I realized that I had an opportunity to bring women the joy of owning a beautiful, well-made, hand-crafted piece of art.

I started Ciselé in 2018 after a trip to Mexico where I was able to immerse myself in the craft of leather tooling. The artistry of this skill left me absolutely impressed and motivated to share this artwork with as many people as I could. I strongly value hard work, tradition, and the arts. Ciselé brings all of these values together and serves as a reflection of how I live my life. I value my roots as a Mexican-American woman and I value my heritage and culture.

I am proud to collaborate with several artisans and carefully select color, style, shape and design of our handbags. I design some of our handbags as well as feature designs from other Mexican designers in our collection. Together we have been able to continuously bring you a beautiful collection of high quality artisanal leather handbags, wallets, belts and accessories.
